Binational Course Model
Students from both sides of the border exchange their experiences and perspectives on U.S.-Mexico relations via a shared online course. Regular collaboration between binational student groups creates opportunities for critical discussion and relationships building aimed at seeking solutions for pressing social issues.
COURSE FORMAT
The course is co-taught by students’ respective professors from U.S. and Mexican institutions using the following course format:

COURSE OBJECTIVES
El Proyecto Estudiantil Transfronterizo es una iniciativa binacional desarrollada por la Dra. Carmen King-Ramirez para crear y promover colaboraciones académicas entre estudiantes y docentes de México y Estados Unidos. Fue fundado en 2021 por cuatro universidades de estados fronterizos (Universidad de Arizona, Universidad CETYS, Universidad del Este de Nuevo México y Universidad de Sonora) y fue posible gracias a la beca Confluence Center/Mellon-Fronteridades para profesores y a la beca García Robles Fulbright Scholarship.
