The Transborder Student Project* is a binational initiative developed by Dr. Carmen King-Ramirez to create and promote academic collaborations between students and teachers from Mexico and the United States. 

We support projects that:

• Create inclusive dialogues between individuals who live on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border.
• Identify and explore social, political, and academic topics of binational interest.
• Increase visibility and understanding of borderlands’ issues.
• Engage in proactive, socially responsible, change-making activities that benefit border communities.
